Raychem Cable Jointing Services help connect power cable sections while maintaining insulation, sealing and electrical continuity. For oil and gas facilities, industrial plants and EPC projects, proper cable jointing is an important part of a safe and well-planned power system.
Thus, at Eunisell Interlinked Plc, we supply Raychem cable accessories and provide professional installation support for power cable applications. Therefore, project teams can access suitable cable jointing solutions alongside the technical expertise needed for proper installation.
Power cables must deliver electricity across demanding operating environments. However, a poor cable joint can weaken the integrity of the connection and lead to costly faults.
For this reason, the right jointing kit and correct installation method matter. A properly selected and installed cable joint helps to:
Maintain electrical continuity between cable sections.
Restore insulation around the joint.
Seal and protect the connection against environmental exposure, as required by the application.
Support stable power transmission.
Reduce the risk of avoidable cable joint failures.
Furthermore, correct cable preparation and adherence to the manufacturer’s installation instructions are essential for the performance of the completed joint.
Oil and gas facilities rely on power systems to operate equipment, control systems and essential plant services. Consequently, cable connections must meet the requirements of the installation environment and the wider electrical network.
Hence, for international oil companies, indigenous oil and gas operators, and EPC contractors, choosing the right cable jointing solution starts with the project specifications.
These include the cable voltage rating, conductor size, insulation type, cable construction and site conditions. In addition, the installation method must suit the selected Raychem jointing kit.
However, Eunisell Interlinked Plc supports projects that require Raychem cable accessories and professional installation expertise. Our approach helps project teams address their cable jointing requirements with attention to product suitability and installation quality.
Different power systems require cable accessories suited to their voltage ratings and cable designs. Therefore, selecting the right jointing solution is essential.
Low Voltage (LV): Suitable jointing solutions help maintain electrical continuity and insulation in low-voltage power cable systems.
Medium Voltage (MV): Correct kit selection and installation help maintain the integrity of cable joints in industrial and distribution networks.
High Voltage (HV): These applications require suitable cable jointing systems, careful preparation and strict compliance with installation procedures.
Extra High Voltage (EHV): These projects require specialised solutions selected for the cable design, voltage class and specific operating conditions.
However, not every jointing kit is suitable for every voltage level. The correct Raychem solution must match the cable and the project requirements.
Supplying the right kit is only one part of the job. Equally important is the quality of the installation.
First, the cable and application requirements must be confirmed. Next, the correct jointing kit must be selected. Then, trained personnel must prepare and join the cable according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable project standards.
Finally, the completed installation should undergo the inspections and tests required by the project specification.
This process helps project teams address installation risks and support the long-term performance of their power cable systems.
